About GHP

GHP started back in 2006 with the name Global Housing Project. The slogan was “together we build homes!”. Later in 2007 we changed the name to Global Housing Partner. The main reason for this was to continue the businesses and a project would always have an end when the objectives of the project are achieved. With this change there never was much a change in its objectives.

New GHP

Now again there is going to be a much bigger change. Entire focus of GHP would now be turned on to GHP Card. Increasing the benefits cardholders would get from the card and the benefits card partners would get is going to be the main objective once this change happens. Additionally we have also decided to sell mobile phones and provide related services from GHP support Center. It has also been decided to change the long name and removing housing from the name as we are facing various issues due to this.

New GHP Card

Standard Card: This would be the current normal card which we at present sell for Rf250/-. The cardholders have the benefit of getting bonus points from partner shops.

Gold Card: Gold cardholders will enjoy further discounts from all partner shops in addition to the bonus points added to the card. We are planning to price this card at Rf1,000/-. Additionally when standard cardholders make a certain amount of purchase they would be offered to switch to Gold card.

Platinum Card: This is the most prestigious card. We will be presenting this card to the two presidents we see today as the first cardholders. That is current president Mohamed Nasheed and previous president Maumoon Abdul Gayyom. That is to show the value of the card. We are planning to price the card at Rf2,000 to Rf5,000. It has not been decided yet. Platinum cardholders would enjoy various types of benefits including bonus points discounts and some shops would only accept the platinum card. Additionally birthday gifts and wedding gifts etc would also be received by platinum cardholders.

We need your ideas on the above change and would be grateful to receive any constructive ideas.
